Dr. Lewis Z. Schlosser is the managing partner at the Institute for Forensic Psychology, which is a police and public safety focused specialty practice currently serving agencies in New Jersey, New York, Maine, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Dr. Schlosser is a licensed psychologist in all eight states currently served by IFP. He is Board Certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology and Counseling Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is a former tenured Associate Professor at Seton Hall University and former in-house Director of Psychological Services for the New York City Correction Department. Dr. Schlosser has conducted over 20,000 police and public safety psychological evaluations, including pre-employment, promotional, and fitness for duty.
Dr. Schlosser provides training to police and public safety personnel on a variety of topics related to officer mental health, with special expertise in fitness for duty and officer wellness. He has presented locally and nationally, including at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference, the IACP Officer Safety and Wellness Symposium, the FBI-NAA NJ Chapter Annual Training Conference, the Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar (MALEEDS) Annual Training Conference, the New Jersey State PBA Mini-Convention, and the Maine Chiefs of Police Association. Dr. Schlosser also regularly serves as an instructor for the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP).
Dr. Schlosser is a member and past Chair of the IACP Police Psychological Services Section. He is also an Auxiliary Member of the National Sheriff’s Association (NSA) and a Member of the NSA Psychological Services Group. Dr. Schlosser is an affiliate member of the NJSACOP and the Bergen County Police Chief's Association. He currently serves as the Chief Psychologist for the NJSACOP and the Delaware Association of Chiefs of Police. Dr. Schlosser is an Associate Member of the Maine Chiefs of Police Association and the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association. He currently serves as a Member-at-Large on the American Board of Police and Public Safety Psychology.
Dr. Schlosser earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, his Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and his PhD in Counseling Psychology, all from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Dr. Krista Dettle is co-owner of IFP and is a licensed psychologist in the states of New Jersey and New York. Dr. Dettle is Board Certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Dettle has conducted over 10,000 psychological evaluations for law enforcement, including pre-employment, fitness for duty evaluations, and promotional evaluations. She also conducts officer wellness sessions and critical incident debriefings. Dr. Dettle was formerly employed with the NYC Department of Correction where she conducted pre-employment psychological evaluations. She also taught graduate and undergraduate students as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University and William Paterson University. Dr. Dettle is a member of the Police Psychological Services Section of the IACP. She is also an affiliate member of the NJSACOP and the BCPCA.
Dr. Matthew Guller is co-owner of IFP and is a clinical psychologist licensed in New Jersey and New York. He has served as a licensed psychologist with IFP since 2006. He is Board Certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Guller has conducted over 18,000 psychological evaluations for law enforcement, including pre-employment, fitness for duty evaluations, and promotional evaluations. He is an adjunct professor of forensic and police psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s graduate program in forensic psychology. He is an annual instructor at the Rockland County (NY) Police Academy. Dr. Guller is a member of the Police Psychological Services Section of the IACP. He is also an affiliate member of the NJSACOP and the BCPCA.

Dr. Christopher Sbaratta is a licensed psychologist in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Maine. Dr. Sbaratta is Board Certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is the former Assistant Director of the Applicant Investigation Unit (2015-2021) for the New York City Department of Correction, and he has served as an examiner with IFP since 2013. Dr. Sbaratta has performed over 12,500 psychological evaluations for law enforcement, including pre-employment and fitness for duty evaluations. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at New York University with a specialization in substance abuse evaluation and treatment. He also taught graduate psychological assessment at New York University (2013-2018). Dr. Sbaratta is a member of the Police Psychological Services Section of the IACP, as well as a member of the Society for Police and Criminal Psychology (SPCP).

Dr. Sandra Ackerman Sinclair is a licensed psychologist in the states of New Jersey and New York. Since 2019, she has worked full-time at IFP. Previously, she worked part-time for IFP (2013-2019) and full-time as a Staff Psychologist and Assistant Director for Outreach and Prevention at Seton Hall University (2012-2019). She has performed over 2,500 psychological evaluations for law enforcement, including pre-employment psychological evaluations and psychological fitness for duty evaluations. Dr. Ackerman Sinclair also conducts officer wellness sessions. She is a member of the Police Psychological Services Section of the IACP. She has previously served as the Membership Chair and Secretary for the Essex Union County Association of Psychologists, and as a general committee member to the New Jersey Psychological Association’s Ethics Education and Resource Committee (2017-2021).

Dr. David ‘Han Zhang’ Liang is a licensed psychologist in the states of New York and New Jersey. Dr. Liang is a former Lead Psychologist of the Applicant Investigation Unit for the New York City Department of Correction (2013-2021). He has served as a consulting psychologist with IFP since 2015. Dr. Liang has performed over 10,000 psychological evaluations for law enforcement, including pre-employment and fitness for duty evaluations. He has taught graduate courses in psychological assessment at Caldwell University.

Dr. Jennifer Buhler is a licensed psychologist in the states of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. She worked with IFP as a consulting psychologist from October 2020 to February 2023, when she joined as a principal psychologist focused on conducting pre-employment psychological evaluations for public safety candidates on a full-time basis. Her previous background includes evaluations and treatment with the severe and persistent mentally ill population in both hospital and forensic settings. She was most recently the forensic psychology supervisor in a maximum-security, state forensic facility (2017-2022) in Delaware. She has also worked as an adjunct professor at Goldey-Beacom College since March of 2013 teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
